Our Impact
Our 7-week braiding training program is conducted in partnership with the Hamilton County Youth Employment Program. To date, we have successfully served over 42 youth, aged 14-21, providing them with instruction in a range of braiding styles and techniques, while compensating them for their participation and learning experience.

What Students Receive
Upon completion of the program, students will receive:
A Certificate of Completion from the Hamilton County Youth Employment Program
Practical skills in braiding techniques and entrepreneurship
A comprehensive take-home kit, including essential braiding tools such as edge control, combs, brushes, and more.

Eligibility and Program Requirements
To enroll in our 7-week braiding training program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a resident of Hamilton County
Be between the ages of 14 and 21
Be available to attend training sessions Monday through Thursday, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a total compensation of $900.
1 on 1 Classes
Join us for a personalized one-on-one session where we’ll walk you through a variety of braiding techniques, from knotless braids to the basics of plaiting and cornrowing. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, we’ll tailor the lesson to your needs, ensuring you feel confident and ready to take on any style. We’re here to support you every step of the way and help you grow your braiding skills with hands-on guidance and expert tips!
Mommy & Me Classes
Join our exciting Mommy & Me Braiding Classes! In this fun, hands-on 2-hour event, you and your little one will master the art of detangling, plaiting, and cornrowing, learning tips and tricks to make styling their hair a breeze. Whether you're a beginner or a braiding pro, you'll leave with new skills to create beautiful, effortless hairstyles at home.
